ACTS works with schools and churches throughout Thanet.
We resource schools to explore issues of Faith & Spirituality, whilst helping churches to support their local school.
In 'school-speak' we are here to support the moral, social and cultural development of children and young people.
Working with Schools
We can support schools through: Assemblies/Collective Worship; Prayer/Reflection Spaces; Lunch clubs; Year 6 programme: Christmas Unwrapped, Easter Cracked, and 'It's Your Move' Transition Sessions; R.E. Workshops; & Staff Training.
Working with the local church
We can partner with the local church to resource them as they support their local school...
Partnering with one another
We are always looking for those who would like to partner with us to see
"Every child in Thanet hear and experience the Good News of Jesus..."
We need:
- Prayer Partners: Could you partner with us in praying for schools, teachers & children?
- People Partners: Could you partner with us in being a volunteer?
- Pound Partners: We need a regular monthly income to sustain the work, plan ahead & expand into more schools and into Secondary and SEN schools. Could you give?

Regular monthly income is needed to make the work of ACTS financially sustainable.

We’re so excited that we have not one but two new workers who are just about to join in the work of ACTS.
Abi will be our Primary Schools Work Facilitator.
Charlotte will be our Volunteer Coordinator.
We have worked in lots of Thanet's Primary Schools sharing Bible stories in assemblies, giving moments of reflection in a Prayer Space or helping children explore life's big questions in an R.E. Workshop. We also love helping local churches know about the opportunities to serve in and pray for their local school.
We also sense that the time is right to explore what a
Secondary Schools Project could look like in Thanet.
